I dreamed of a place where my children could explore the world in a warm, homelike environment — where the small group is a safe space to make friends and learn what it means to cooperate as a team. A place where they can meet people from other cultures, expand their worldview, and get to know the English language in a natural and playful way. My dream came true, and in 15 years FunnyKids has far surpassed what I had ever imagined it would become. It always moves me when a family visits us because they’ve heard good things about us. My name is Izabella, and I am an English teacher. Since the beginning, I have devoted all my efforts to finding ways to make FunnyKids an even better place for the children, the colleagues, the families who join us, and our international team members.

My most important role is to ensure the smoothness of the children’s daily routines and to support the work of the nursery educator. I approach the little ones with dedication, patience, and love, as I find it essential that their days in the nursery are filled with smiles and good spirits.

Raising four children — a journey full of joy and challenges — along with many years of experience in my profession, has strengthened my belief in unconditional acceptance, a loving atmosphere, and the importance of the “I am safe” feeling. I believe every child is unique and unrepeatably valuable. By supporting families, I work each day to ensure that the children can experience all of this: to discover themselves, connect with others, and develop their personalities in safety while exploring the world.

I view my work as a vocation, and it fills me with joy that through the children’s trust I can experience just how unique and unrepeatable every little one is. It is important to me that the children can unfold in a calm, loving, family-like environment where they receive acceptance, attention, and encouragement. I strive to create an atmosphere they can feel is their second home, where play is not only fun, but also the most natural form of learning and development. The theme of my group is based on the natural acquisition of the English language. In our daily routine, we explore the language through songs, stories, rhymes, and games, making English an exciting new channel of communication for the children. I love seeing the spark of joy in their eyes when they encounter a new word, melody, or shared experience — these moments are what give true meaning to my work.

Continuous development is very important to me, and I try to pass this on to the children in our everyday moments. I aim to make their time in the nursery as comfortable as possible — both through the work I do behind the scenes and through the time spent directly with them. I believe that by applying the values I represent in my work, our everyday life becomes much more personal and family-like for both the children and myself. This is a special period in the children’s lives, as this is where they first encounter community life. It brings me joy to be part of this stage, when they look at the world with the greatest wonder and admiration.
