Choosing a kindergarten is a true milestone in every family’s life, as it lays the foundation for our child’s future development and happiness. The early years play a decisive role in shaping cognitive abilities, social relationships, self-confidence, creativity, and emotional well-being. Our kindergarten offers a child-centered and activity-based educational program, as well as bilingual education in English, welcoming parents who wish their child to flourish in a loving environment that best suits their individual personality and pace of development. Our English education is implemented with the support of the Pearson international educational program, and our work is also assisted by a foreign colleague.
Swimming is one of the most complete forms of exercise, which playfully develops children’s muscles, coordination, and endurance. Experiences in the water strengthen self-confidence, help overcome fears, and support the development of body awareness. Water can be a motivating environment for children, encouraging movements that no other setting can evoke. Swimming lessons not only bring the joy of movement but also contribute to establishing a healthy lifestyle. In our kindergarten group, there is an opportunity to participate in swimming lessons regularly from autumn to spring.
Horse riding develops children’s sense of balance, posture, and coordination. The connection with the horse strengthens empathy, responsibility, and concentration while bringing calmness and self-confidence. Spending time outdoors, being close to nature, and interacting with animals all contribute to the development of children’s emotional and physical harmony. During the spring and autumn seasons, we have the opportunity to go horseback riding here in Nemesvámos.

Every autumn and spring we go on excursions with the children, stepping out of our usual environment to try something new and gain new experiences. These shared trips and adventures deepen friendships and social connections, help children acquire new knowledge, and develop skills through new experiences.

Every year, participating in puppet theatre performances is a great experience. The tales come to life and capture the children’s imagination, often continuing to live on in their daily play and memories.
Every month Uncle Gergő visits us and tells us fascinating stories about nature, animals, and plants. We always learn a lot from him each time he comes.
With our senior group, we prepare for school through the Lurkó program.

We believe that every child is unique and unrepeatable. Our mission is to create a kindergarten environment where children can grow and develop in a loving and safe atmosphere, where the joy of play and discovery shapes everyday life. Our pedagogical approach focuses on nurturing children's curiosity, providing emotional security, and fostering an environmentally conscious mindset. It is important to us that children learn to approach their peers and the world with respect and openness. The English language is naturally integrated into the life of the kindergarten, supporting the development of children's communication skills, memory, and thinking. In our bilingual environment, children use both languages playfully, confidently, and with joy. In cooperation with the Európa Ifjúsága organization, we welcome international volunteers who warmly and enthusiastically support English language education. Our goal is to help the children who attend our kindergarten grow into confident, empathetic, curious, and open-minded schoolchildren.
The Pearson Edexcel iPrimary Reception/Early Years curricula is a 2-year programme for children aged 3 to 5. The programme helps teachers understand the level that children should be working at and how learning progresses over time. Research has shown that effective education at this age ensure students are prepared to progress with the skills they need to engage with the world around them.

I dreamed of a place where my children could explore the world in a warm, homelike environment — where the small group is a safe space to make friends and learn what it means to cooperate as a team. A place where they can meet people from different cultures, broaden their worldview, and get to know the English language in a natural, playful way. My dream came true, and in 15 years it has far surpassed what I ever envisioned — FunnyKids has become something truly special. It always moves me when a family visits us because they have heard good things about us.

I have been working as a kindergarten teacher for more than ten years, and I consider it a great gift that I was able to learn the foundations of this profession at the start of my career from an excellent mentor. I believe that kindergarten age is one of the most formative and beautiful periods in a child’s life: this is when emotional and social patterns develop that accompany them throughout their lives. My goal is to ensure that the children entrusted to me can live this period in safety, love, and with rich experiences — and that later they will look back on their kindergarten years with joy.

My love for children has accompanied me throughout my life, as my mother was a lead kindergarten teacher, so the kindergarten environment felt natural to me from a very young age. I have always aimed to create a space where children can spend their days in safety, love, and filled with meaningful experiences. I am especially fond of creative activities: I love drawing, painting, singing, playing the guitar, and gardening, and I strive to include this diversity in our shared activities. I believe that the arts and natural experiences greatly contribute to children’s self-expression, joy, and development.

I carry out my work with great patience, attention, and love. For me, the children in the group are not just “kindergarteners entrusted to me,” but little human beings who require a connection made with responsibility and heart. I believe that kindness, attention, and supportive presence are just as essential for their development as play or learning. My goal is for them to know every single day: they matter, they are important, and they are in a good place.

“The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge, but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover.”
My name is Marina Alcoriza Bautista, and I am from Castelldefels, a beautiful coastal city located just 20 minutes from Barcelona, Spain. I hold a degree in Psychopedagogy, which has given me a strong foundation in child development, learning processes, and emotional well-being. I love working with children because every day brings new experiences and opportunities to grow together. What motivates me most in my work is supporting children during their early years, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and essential skills in a safe, warm, and caring environment. Being part of their development and seeing their progress each day is truly rewarding for me.
